Adaptive Cruise Control with traffic stop and go

Take basic cruise control to the next level of convenience. Set your pre-determined speed and distance to the vehicle ahead, and this standard system will automatically adjust the vehicle speed to maintain the set distance. The system will even operate in stop-and-go traffic, bringing the vehicle to a complete stop when necessary and then resuming automatically.

Blind-Spot Collision Warning

Capable of sensing a vehicle approaching the driver’s blind spot, standard Blind-Spot Collision Warning provides both an audible and visual alert to help reduce the potential for a collision. Our innovative system also features Lane Change Assist, which measures the closing speed of traffic approaching in adjacent lanes to help determine if a lane change is safe.

Driver Attention Warning

Designed to detect the onset of driver fatigue, this standard system will monitor driver input and issue a visual and audible alert if fatigue is sensed, suggesting a driving break.

Advanced Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Junction-Turning and Junction-Crossing Detection

This standard safety feature is designed to detect oncoming vehicles or pedestrians and warn the driver of a potential frontal collision. This feature also includes junction-turning and available junction-crossing technologies to help make intersections safer to cross for you and your passengers.

High Beam Assist

Using the front-mounted camera and light detection technology, standard High Beam Assist technology provides an extra level of convenience by automatically switching between high and low beam when traffic is detected ahead.

Highway Driving Assist 2

Available Highway Driving Assist 2 is the enhanced version of Highway Driving Assist. Working in conjunction with Lane Following Assist, Lane Change Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with traffic stop and go, it conveniently helps you keep to the speed limit by adjusting your set cruise control speed as the speed limit changes, based on GPS and highway data, and automatically decreases your speed before entering a highway curve section when you have both hands on the wheel and are driving over 60 km/h.

Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keeping Assist

Start drifting outside of your lane without signalingand this standard system is designed to inform you with haptic, audible and visual cues. If no action is taken, Lane Keeping Assist can apply corrective steering assistance to help keep the vehicle within the lane markings.

Lane Following Assist

Using the frontview camera to detect lane markers on the road, this feature assists the driver’s steering to help keep the vehicle centred inside the lane.

Parking Distance Warning — Reverse

The standard Parking Distance Warning — Reverse feature uses sensors embedded into the rear bumper to make reverse parking easier by producing a warning sound for the driver if the rear of the vehicle gets too close to any object. As the vehicle approaches closer to the object, the warning sound will increase in frequency. Parking Distance Warning — Front is also available.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist

When reversing out of areas with low visibility, standard Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist not only warns the driver if vehicles approach from the side — it can also apply the brakes automatically if no action is taken.

Rear Occupant Alert

As the engine is turned off, a visual warning in the instrument cluster reminds you to check the rear seats before exiting. An audible alert will also sound once you open the driver’s door as a secondary reminder.

Remote Smart Parking Assist

Remote Smart Parking Assist can help you pull out of those tight parking spaces. Simply use the key fob while standing outside the vehicle and it remotely drives out of the parking space. Conversely, the system can also park the vehicle in tight spaces, like your garage.

Safe Exit Assist

Standard Safe Exit Assist helps prevent your passengers from stepping onto the road by sounding an alert and temporarily locking the rear doors when its radar detects a vehicle approaching from behind. This technology continues to monitor for up to 10 minutes after the ignition is turned off.

Ultrasonic Rear Occupant Alert

As the engine is turned off, a visual warning in the instrument cluster reminds you to check the rear seats before exiting. An audible alert will also sound once you open the driver’s door as a secondary reminder. Additionally, overhead ultrasonic sensors monitor the rear-seat area to further minimize the risk of a child or pet accidently being left inside after the vehicle is parked and locked. If sensors detect movement, the horn will honk, lights will flash and your smartphone will receive an alert through our standard Bluelink® connected vehicle system (when subscription is active).

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with traffic stop and go is not a collision avoidance or warning device. ACC is for highway use only and should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic, or on winding or slippery roads. Driver remains responsible to slow or stop the vehicle to avoid a collision. Acceleration after the vehicle comes to a complete stop will only occur when the vehicle has been stopped for less than three seconds. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Never rely completely on Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) and be sure to use proper lane changing procedures. BCW will not detect every object or vehicle and will not prevent accidents. Always look over your shoulder and use your mirrors to confirm clearance. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW) is only a notification system and will not influence the direction or speed of the vehicle. DAW will not prevent accidents. DAW does not replace attentive and safe driving. Always ensure that you pay careful attention while driving. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) is designed to detect vehicles that are directly in front of the vehicle. FCA will not detect all vehicles and objects. FCA will not work on winding or hilly roads, during certain weather conditions such as rain, snow, fog and any other times of limited visibility. FCA initiates full braking at speeds between 8 and 80 km/h (vehicle detection) or 8 and 70 km/h (pedestrian detection). When equipped with pedestrian detection, FCA will not detect all pedestrians under certain conditions. See Owner’s Manual for detailed descriptions of example conditions in which FCA may not detect a pedestrian. FCA is not a substitute for safe driving. Always check your surroundings when driving. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA2), when used in conjunction with Lane Following Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with traffic stop and go, is for highway use only and can help keep the vehicle centred in its lane while maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle ahead only when the lane markings are clearly visible on the road. HDA 2will reduce cruise control set speed as the vehicle approaches a curve in the highway. HDA2 should not be used in poor weather, heavy or varying traffic or on winding or slippery roads. HDA will not work under all circ*mstances and on all highways and will not prevent loss of control. Driver remains responsible to slow or stop the vehicle to avoid a collision. For HDA2 to maintain the posted speed limit of a highway, the system must be set to the exact speed limit. Only select provincial and territorial highways will apply to this feature of the system. Driver remains at all times responsible for determining the correct speed limit and to abide by such speed limits, including in situations in which a speed limit may be altered, but such change in speed limit is not recognized by the navigation system, such as in the cases of reduced speeds in construction zones or where posted speed limits have been recently increased or decreased. Driver remains responsible for controlling the vehicle to avoid a collision or other accidents. Driver is responsible for maintaining the data of the navigation system up to date. HDA2 will only fully function when the navigation map data is available for the section of highway that is being driven on. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keeping Assist operates when vehicle speed exceeds 64 km/h and only when the lane markings are clearly visible on the road and detected by the system. It will not prevent loss of control. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Lane Following Assist (LFA), when actively engaged with Adaptive Cruise Control or Highway Driving Assist, can help keep the vehicle centred in its lane only when the lane markings are clearly visible on the road. Lane Following Assist will not work under all circ*mstances and will not prevent loss of control. Lane Following Assist is a supplemental assist and does not replace the need for extreme care and attention by the driver. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Never rely exclusively on the Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist; it is not a substitute for attentive driving or the driver using the brakes to avoid a collision. Always look over your shoulder and use your mirrors to confirm rear clearance. There are limitations to the function, detection, range and clarity of the system. The system may not detect every vehicle and may not avoid every collision. This system does not detect stationary objects. Vehicle must be in reverse and has to be travelling at 10 km/h or less. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

When the vehicle is parked and the engine has been turned off, the Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) can help to alert the driver if the rear door(s) have been opened at any point after the vehicle was unlocked at the beginning of the journey. Upon turning the engine off, ROA will provide an audible alert and a visual alert on the instrument cluster. ROA is not a substitute for driver attentiveness. Always make sure you check rear seats before exiting the vehicle. Do not solely rely on ROA to determine if rear seats are empty. Never leave a child unattended in a vehicle. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.

Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) can assist with parking the vehicle. RSPA may not function correctly if one or more of the parking sensors is damaged, dirty or covered or if weather conditions (heavy rain, snow or fog) interfere with sensor operation. RSPA will not assist in parallel parking and can only assist in moving the vehicle in a parking spot forwards and backwards. To operate the RSPA, the operator must be outside of the vehicle but within a range of 12 feet of the vehicle. Always inspect the parking area with your own eyes for any potential hazards, dangers or safety issues. Operator remains responsible to stop the vehicle to avoid a collision or accident. Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe operation of the feature and ensuring that the parking area is free from obstacles, pedestrians, etc. See Owner's Manual for further details and limitations.

When the vehicle is parked, Safe Exit Assist (SEA) can alert occupants planning to exit the vehicle when a vehicle is approaching from behind. When child locks are active, SEA prevents the rear doors from opening if a vehicle approaching from behind is detected. SEA may not detect every vehicle and may not avoid an accident. SEA is not a substitute for attentive operation of the vehicle. Always monitor the vehicle’s surroundings before any passengers exit the vehicle. SEA turns off 10 minutes after the ignition is turned off. See Owner’s Manual for further details and limitations.

Do not solely rely on Rear Occupant Alert with ultrasonic sensors to determine whether rear seats are empty. Always make sure you check rear seats before exiting the vehicle. Rear Occupant Alert with ultrasonic sensors may not detect a rear occupant in certain situations, including when little or no movement is detected or if the sensor is obscured. Never leave a child unattended in a vehicle. Please refer to the Owner’s Manual for further limitations and information regarding Rear Occupant Alert with ultrasonic sensors.
